November Highlights

Eliza made the musical for Wylie High again, this year it's Beauty and the Beast. The theatre department put on a camp for a fundraiser and I signed Annmarie up.  She enjoyed the camp.  She also gets to go to a character meet and greet for the musical when it happens as part of the camp package.  

I came upstairs and found this meeting happening on the coffee table in the play room.  Not sure what kind of conspiracies are being concocted, but it looks questionable.  

Jonah and Nathan had fun walking around the neighborhood the week of Thanksgiving break and raking leaves for some cash.  They made $100 in one week raking leaves and they split it between them.  

We hosted Thanksgiving dinner at our house again.  This time Austin was able to come, so that was nice.

I took a picture of me talking with the boys on their missions.  It's cool to show how we are able to communicate with our missionaries now--us in Texas, Westley in Wisconsin, and Caleb in Ohio.

I found this scrumptious recipe for hot chocolate cookies and decided to try it and they are the bomb!  Travis is going to try and get orders for them for Christmas.

 

In-N-Out Anniversary Dinner

Corey got to fly to California to attend the 75th anniversary dinner of In-N-Out. He also made his 20 years with the company (since he started back after Westley was born) and was gifted a nice ring to commemorate it. He got to have his picture taken with Lynsi Snyder, the owner. It was a nice time for him. I just wish he had been able to bring a guest to share it with (me!).

 

State Gymnastics Championship

Annmarie's state gymnastics championship was in Woodlands TX, which is north of Houston. We did the trip in one day. Her meet was in the middle of the day, so we drove down in the morning, ate lunch in the car, went to the meet, had some dinner, then drove back in the evening. She placed 3rd on beam (9.025), 5th on bars (9.0) and 6th All Around (35.95). She beat her all around score for the season and every meet she got a higher all around than the previous meet, so that is a successful season. 

Of course, since Houston has a temple that was nearby, we had to stop and walk the grounds. It was a beautiful day and we took some nice pictures.

 

Fall Baseball Ends

Nathan's fall baseball season ended with a double header, which our team won both games.  He liked being on this team and we will try to get on this team for the spring season.

Professional Gymnastics Pictures

Annmarie had her team pictures taken for the season finally. She never had any done last year, so I guess the gym only does it every other year. They turned out great and I love how the team one turned out.
