Homecoming/Farewell and Setting Apart
Caleb has his homecoming talk and Travis had his farewell talk on the same Sunday. Caleb's return date of August 29th and Travis' report date of September 3rd kind of made that happen. Westley and Alejandra were there for it and so were Jamie and Nana. It was such a beautiful Sunday. Eliza and Annmarie sand a beautiful duet called "He Will Heal You". We had an open house later in the day and then President Shumard came and set Travis apart as a missionary.

Caleb Comes Home!
Westley and Alejandra flew into town and were able to be with us when Caleb came home from Ohio. He flew into Dallas Love Field. We had let all the kids miss school. We picked him up and then went home, where President Shumard released him from his mission. Then we went to In-N-Out for lunch. Notice the picture of all four kids who worked at that In-N-Out. Westley and Caleb worked together, Westley and Travis worked together, Caleb, Travis and Eliza worked together and Eliza and Travis worked together. It's so great having everyone home!

Travis' Last Days at In-N-Out
I got a few pictures of Travis working some of his last shifts. I made sure to get one of him and Eliza too. He started there in July 2021, a few months before turning 16 because they lowered the age in Texas from 16 to 15-1/2. He got his level 6 raise over the summer and was a cook before he left.

Abby's Wedding
Abby Farnsworth is my cousin Charles' oldest daughter. She is right in between Westley and Caleb in age. She actually grew up in London because that's where Charles works, but she was getting married in Arizona because her husband, Cole Thompson, is from the Gilbert area. I got the wedding invitation, so I got my mom to go with me. We flew to Arizona and went to the wedding. Then we stayed the night. We went to church in my mom's old ward in Mesa and then we flew home. A very quick trip, but it was nice. My Farnsworth cousins were all there and it was nice to see Charles and Ed, who I never see, and Dan, who I hardly ever see. While we were there, we also met up with my friend Shar Cardona and had some yummy gelato. What a nice little trip!
