Music Program, BYU Brownies, and Cool Dude

Annmarie had her kindergarten music program.  The theme was Texas, so I had a neighbor of ours make her a Texas shirt last minute and she just looked so cute!

Eliza made BYU Brownies for the Young Women camp fundraiser. 

Nathan found a pair of pants that perfectly matched a jacket he already owned, so he is modeling his coolness.

New Bed and Braum's

Nathan has graduated from a crib to a toddler bed.  He hasn't done so well staying in it at night, and spends a lot of nights in our bed.  But he's getting to be such a big boy.  Next up, potty training!

Westley was recognized at the monthly school board meeting for his Reflections award for music composition.  He did not end up winning anything at state, but we are proud that he entered the contest to begin with and then won at the school and district level.  We went to Braum's after the board meeting recognition to celebrate his accomplishment. 

Shining the Way Award

Jonah surprised us by getting the "Shining the Way" award at school.  He is very well behaved at school and does well academically too.  This term, he was on the A/B Honor Roll, only because in ONE subject he got an 89 and the rest were above 90.  The average would have been an A, though!  We sure are proud of him!

Jonah's Baptism

Jonah and his cousin Lily were baptized together on the same day.  Westley was able to baptize Jonah, having just become a priest due to the age changes for advancement within the church.  We asked Jonah who he wanted to baptize him and he chose Westley, which I thought was kind of cool.  Nana and Grandma and Grandpa came out for the baptism.  I took pictures of Jonah with other friends who came but I haven't been able to find those pictures.  Jonah and Lily are two days apart, Jonah's birthday being March 13 and Lily on March 15. 

Annmarie is SIX!

Annmarie turned six today.  We went to the Heard Museum to do some hiking and play in the children's village area.  She is a busy, smart girl.  We love you Annmarie!  I did not get a picture of her birthday dessert, which was pumpkin pie.  Since it's Pi Day (3.14), we like to have pie on her birthday.

Jonah is EIGHT!

Jonah is eight years old today!  He is a special boy.  He loves to play outside, do gymnastics, and play with LEGOs.  He's really smart and does well in school.  He's also on the shy side.  We love you, Jonah!

I made him a Wii cake, as in the Wii controllers and box, since he likes to play video games.
