September Fun
Annmarie and Nathan have had some fun spirit days at school. Crazy hair day, decades day. I got to eat lunch with Annmarie and she had Madi eat lunch with us and Nathan got to eat lunch with Luke and his mom, so she sent me a picture. Nathan also got a library card for the public library this month. And he loved getting his picture taken with the pirate, Mr. Alexander, the principal for Wylie High School. I also got to eat lunch with Audrey, one of my closest friends here.Annmarie also squeezed in a cheer clinic with all of her gymnastics. She wasn't able to cheer at the football game though because it conflicted with a gymnastics meet week and she can't miss practice on the week of a meet. We also got a new oven. The old one was touch and go for a long time. It failed and it took several months, but we finally got it installed. So glad to finally have a working oven again!

Eliza the Cheerleader
Eliza has had a busy month with cheering at all the 7th and 8th grade home football games. She seems to like cheering at the games but she doesn't really feel like part of the squad. I can relate!

Gymnastics Meets
Annmarie had several gymnastics meets in September. She did well at all of them and it is so fun to watch her compete!

Travis Football and Birthday
Travis has been busy playing football on the freshman team. He is enjoying playing in high school. Games are every Thursday and it keeps us busy! And Travis had his 15th birthday on September 23rd. Kids are growing up!

In-N-Out Company Picnic 2021
Still being in the throes of COVID, the company changed up their picnic. It wasn't in the summer or at a water park, but in September. They did it like the old style picnics--like a fair with lots of food and activities. Annmarie and I had to join the group late because she had a gymnastics meet. We went straight from the meet to the picnic. It was a fun time, as always!

Heard Museum on Labor Day
I took the kids who were available and wanted to go to the Heard Museum. Caleb was working and Eliza didn't want to go. I'm glad at least Travis was still interested in hanging out with us!
