Baskin Robbins Gift Cards

Since the company Aunt Jamie works for owns Baskin Robbins, she and Nana often send us gift cards as gifts. I always forget I have them, so I have a pretty good collection of them. Today we used them to treat ourselves to ice cream.

 

Basektball Cheer

Eliza got to cheer for a few basketball games. She also got her back handspring in tumbling! She was able to perform it multiple times at the basketball games. They did cheering for basketball way different than when I cheered in junior high. The girls signed up for a date to cheer. They wanted at least six there each time but that was the only requirement. They were only required to cheer for four games. Seemed pretty silly to me. But the basketball games are not well attended, which is a shame, since it's so fun to watch.

 

Travis Ordination and Grandparents Move

Travis was ordained a priest in the Aaronic priesthood.  It was great because Westley and Caleb got to participate.  Plus I had my dad and brothers there.  Oh yeah, my parents moved to Texas!  They sold their house in only a few weeks in Arizona and moved out over Christmas.  They are living in the Lamarches' guest house while building a house on Adam's property.

Gator Groove

After the first semester of school, second term, the kids had a Gator Groove to showcase their awards. Annmarie was on the A Honor roll and Nathan got an award for Kindergarten.

 

Bringing Westley Home from Snow

Right after school got back in for the kids, Westley flew back up to Utah. We had originally booked him a flight back thinking he'd go for a second semester at Snow College. But he ended up choosing to stay home to work and put his papers in for a mission. So he had to bring his things home. He spent a few days with Ruthie before her semester would start. I drove up with Eve so that Westley and I could bring his things home. Eve had her own flight home. We stayed with John and Allison while we were there. We even had a Fellows get-together with those who were in Utah and could make it. Of course, COVID still has control over so many social gatherings and some people didn't come because of that. Westley and I then drove home, stopping in Albuquerque for the night.

 

Art Museum Day

A few of us decided to visit the art museum for fun during the winter break from school while Westley was home. We took the train to Dallas and enjoyed the day together looking at art.
