More April Fun

These are pictures from April that happened throughout the month.  Nathan got to help with the morning announcements at Groves.  Travis also got to be a greeter at Groves with the wrestling team and the principal had all the ones from Groves line up at the front.  Annmarie participated in a kite flying activity at school.  Travis and Eliza had their final concerts, which happened to be the same night (thank you, Wylie schools!).  I pulled this picture of Nathan from his teacher's class Facebook page.  And Westley and Travis got to go to an Eric Church concert, thanks to a friend of mine having tickets that she couldn't use.

Busy Week with End of School

As the school year draws to a close, the weeks can get super busy. Nathan had his kindergarten program.  Travis, as a freshman, got to come to Groves and be a greeter with the high school football team, so that was fun for Nathan and Annmarie.  Eliza had a choir concert and she was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.  On another note, Westley started home MTC on April 25th, and he got his missionary name tag and plaque for the church.

 

Easter 2022

We had Easter as a family for the last time for a long time. Next year Westley will be gone, the next year both Westley and Caleb will probably be gone, and then after that, Caleb again, then Travis, then who knows?  The girls had matching dresses probably for the last time.  Time is sure flying by and the kids are growing up.

 

5th Grade Adventure Camp for Jonah

Jonah had fifth grade adventure camp and Corey was able to go as a chaperone. He chaperoned a few field trips for the older boys and hadn't done anything yet for Jonah, so this is what he did. They had a lot of fun. Jonah really enjoyed all the activities, like fishing, climbing the rock wall, and archery.

 

Wylie Opry Performance

Westley got invited back to the Wylie Opry and performed again. It's his last performance there before his mission. He hopes to perform again after he gets home.

 

Annie Jr.

Eliza played a maid in Cooper Junior High's performance of Annie Jr. She did really well and really enjoyed her time with it. John and Allison happened to come out for their Spring Break and they were able to come watch. She had a lot of support there.

 

First Week of April

The first week of April, Westley's girlfriend from Snow College, Ruthie, came to visit him. It was nice to see her (I got to meet her when up in Utah bringing his things home from Snow in January). She is really great. 

General Conference was that weekend.  That first week after General Conference, Groves had a special lunch outside where family could come join their students and eat out on the front patio.  Corey was home, so we went and ate lunch with the kids.
