Fowles Family Mini Reunion

So we ended up having a mini reunion here in Texas just with those who live in Texas.  We met up at Aaron's house for swimming.  Then we did a family history spotlight of Grandpa Fellows.  I know there was food.  Later in the day, we played a Nertz tournament at Adam and Eve's and ate and went swimming again.  I do not have pictures of these events.  Maureen and her daughters Keira and Molly were in town, and spent some time with us.  

As part of the activities, the kids made these posters to show others more about them and then did a presentation.  I loved that each of my kids put on their poster how they like their burger at In-N-Out.

Travis Temple

On June 15th, Travis was ordained an Elder in the Melchizedek Priesthood and on June 26th, he went through the temple.  What a wonderful time of life!

 

Senior Yearbook Photos

Eliza is now a senior at Wylie High School.  We are on our fourth senior!  She actually let me get pictures of her at the senior photo session.  I had to beg the boys to let me.

 

FSY Jonah and Eliza

Jonah and Eliza got to go to FSY in Denton at University of North Texas. I signed them up for the same week. Eliza roommed with Hailey and Jonah didn't have a predesignated roommate. They both seemed to have a good experience. I love that the kids get to experience this.

Yard Work

Our pitiful yard needs a lot of work.  The HOA has been hounding us because it looks so dreadful.  We bought a whole bunch of seed and topsoil from Lowe's and are trying to get grass to grow.  Hopefully it will be looking better by the end of summer.
 

Utah Trip in June

We went up to Utah again for Westley and Alejandra's Utah open house. Sadly, it was not well attended and sadly-er, I cannot find the pictures from that night. 

Corey had flown up because he scheduled a work trip that coincided with it. He was to see stores in Northern Utah (like Logan) and also Idaho. This meant that he was not with us in Utah for most of the time, only on the day of the open house. 

Travis and Eliza helped me drive. We stayed the night on the way there in Cortez CO and on the way home in the same place we had stayed on the trip out for Leah's wedding.

When we got to Utah, we met up with Westley and Alejandra and went swimming at their community pool.  We stayed with John and Allison.  We spent a day driving up through Provo Canyon/Park City Loop.  We ate at Village Baker and the BYU Creamery and went to an art museum in Provo.  We also went to the Provo Rec Center for swimming where they have this huge water park.  It was a really nice trip.
