Silly Times
We were goofing around with my phone and just being silly, so I took this picture. Unfortunately, it was among the last selfies I would take with this phone because shortly thereafter, the selfie mode disappeared and I haven't been able to figure out how to get it back (10 months later). But I love this picture of us being silly!

Captain America
Jonah loves to dress up and play pretend of all sorts and he especially loves Superheroes. Grandpa and Grandma sent him a Captain America costume, which he loves. He was playing Captain America when I snapped this photo.

Look What I Can Do!
Nathan has learned to climb into the kitchen chairs. Watch out, we are in trouble now! He was so proud of himself for his accomplishment though.

"A" Honor Roll
About every nine weeks is a term here in our school district, and the kids have a chance to earn awards every term. Travis and Eliza have been very consistent in making it on the honor roll every term. They work hard to keep up their grades and we are sure proud of them!

Annmarie's Birthday
Annmarie turned four today! She wanted a "horse cake" so this is what I came up with. I used one of our LEGO Duplo horses (don't worry, I washed it well first). She loved it. Annmarie is one spunky little girl. She can get a bit crazy sometimes, but she is so full of life. We just love her so much!

Jonah's Birthday
And just like that, Jonah is six years old. He chose a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cake, similar to the one he had when he turned three, only this time, it was Raphael. Last time it was Michelangelo. He loves school and is learning to read, he learned to ride a bike this year, and he loves playing with his siblings. He's a good artist and a happy, sweet kid. A little shy, but that's okay!

Spring Break Trip
For Spring Break, which was the first full week of March, we started out by letting the kids have a sleepover together in one room. Later in the week, I took the six younger kids to San Antonio to see the Alamo. We stayed in a hotel overnight and then went home the next day. Westley was not feeling well and so did not come with us. He stayed behind and got to go to a movie with Dad, who had to work. I hope to make many more small trips like this for the kids to see Texas and other places in this part of the country while we live here.

Nathan Turns One (Technically)!
Since Nathan was born on Leap Day, he won't have an actual birthday until 2020, when he turns four. So we celebrated on February 28th to keep it in February even though he really wasn't one until March 1st. But we have two birthdays in March. I didn't get any pictures it seems of his cake. I'm sure I did, but I can't find them, so they must have been deleted. But this is him and his cuteness! We just love his bright smile, easy laughter, and excitement for life! What a precious gift he has been!
