Arrow of Light

At the pack meeting on Travis' birthday, Westley earned his Arrow of Light. He actually finished it in May, but this was the first time that they could do the Arrow of Light pack meeting. We are very proud of our boy!

 

Another Eight-Year-Old in the House

Travis is a big eight-year-old now.  He was so excited to turn eight.  We had waffles for his birthday breakfast and he bought his lunch at school.  We had tacos for dinner.  That night was a cub scout pack meeting and he got to attend as a cub scout, not just as a family member.  He was so excited about being part of the cubs.

Travis is such a great kid.  He's very smart.  He loves LEGOS.  He loves drawing.  He loves Transformers.  He likes to swim and ride his bike.  He loves to play baseball.  We love having Travis as part of our family.

Cardboard Box Cars

Some of the best toys are empty boxes.  These two boxes were sitting in our living room for a while, and Jonah and Annmarie kept climbing in them, so the older kids and I made them look like cars with some construction paper.  Then they would sit in them to watch TV, like at a drive-in movie.  They loved being pushed around by us in the cars.  These cars kept Jonah and Annmarie entertained for a couple of weeks until they just got too wasted to use anymore.
