This year's crosstown showdown, the varsity football game between Wylie High and Wylie East, was not as bad for Wylie as I feared it would be. We actually held up well against the undefeated Raiders. They did, in the end beat us. But it was fun to see both bands perform, especially since AJ and Sakura are in the Wylie East band and we have Jonah in ours. Kaori and Nozomi sat on our side during the first half so they could watch the bands during halftime. They went to the other side after halftime to help with the band at the end of the game.
