Family Reunion Part V

We can't forget the root beer drinking contest that we always do.  Fellows, now Fowles, tradition. This was after the trip to Telluride on July 1st.  July 1st was our final day there.  We left to go home on July 2nd.  We stopped in Amarillo on the way home and got home Saturday afternoon.

Family Reunion Part IV

On July 1st, we went to Telluride to ride the gondola on the mountain.  It was really high up and pretty terrifying for those of us afraid of heights.  Paige didn't go up in the gondola.  I was able to make it, but it was scary for me.  We then hung around in town and played some games while some of the others continued to ride the gondolas.  We had also taken family pictures that morning in our tie-dyed shirts.

Family Reunion Part III

On June 30th, we went to some Native American ruins out past Cortez. We had a pretty tough hike and hiked pretty far before turning around. At a pit stop on the way back to the cabin, we bought some pies that were being sold at a stand. It was a beautiful day and very tiring.

 

Family Reunion Part II

 On June 29th, it was pretty rainy so we stayed in and played games.  

We also tye-died shirts for later in the week when we had pictures.  We made meals together and watched some movies too.  There was a playground near the cabin that the kids played at, even though it was muddy and wet.
