Memorial Day was May 26th. On Sunday the 25th, we met up with Adam and Eve and their kids at the Salt Lake Cemetery to visit the graves of my (and Adam's) Uncle Tom and Grandpa and Grandma Fellows. On Memorial Day, we drove down to Mt. Pleasant (Sanpete County) and met up with John and Allison and their kids there to visit the graves of John Fowles and John Henry Fowles as well as the graves of my Grandpa and Grandma Fowles in Fairview. We also visited with my Uncle Clell and Aunt Debi and their kids in Mt. Pleasant.
It finally warmed up and on the last Friday in May it was warm enough to go to the splash park. We met up with some friends there and played in the park. Annmarie seemed really like it at first but by the end she had decided that water splashing on her was not fun at all.
On the last Saturday in May, Corey had the day off, so we went hiking up Rose Canyon (Yellow Fork). We hiked in one direction for thirty minutes then turned around and hiked back. Jonah was freaking out about all the wildlife, mostly the bug, and Annmarie did NOT like being in the baby carrier at all. But we still had a good time. I decided while we were in Hawaii that I wanted to really explore more of Utah and take my kids because while Hawaii is beautiful and amazing, so is Utah, so I should take advantage of living here while we do, in case we ever move.
