Because we have year round school here in Utah in the elementary schools, school started the last Monday in July for Caleb (4th), Travis (2nd), and Eliza (1st). First grade actually started on the second day of school because the first day, they have individual meetings with their teachers. It's kind of their way of easing the first graders into full day school. So this picture was taken on the second day.
