Mother-Daughter Date

At the beginning of 2019, Corey and I decided that we wanted to spend more one-on-one time with the kids, so on the date of their birthday each month, one of us does something with just that kid.  We've been trying to do it and sometimes we don't hit it right on that day.  Hopefully we can keep it up. 

Eliza and I went to dinner at the Cotton Patch Cafe and then went to a play for one of the other junior highs in our district, Beauty and the Beast.   The star of the play was a member of our church in another ward.  Eliza hopes to do these types of musical plays when she is in junior high and high school, so she loved being able to see this play.
