All the Concerts

Being December, it was pretty much one concert after another.  The A'Cappella choir had a special Christmas concert at a church in Plano that I dragged Annmarie and Nathan to.  Jonah had his band concert that I didn't attend because I had parent orchestra.  There was also a choir concert for the high school choirs at the Cross Church.  Kate Reese, who is in Sachse ward and a senior at Wylie High, jumped into the picture.  Eliza had her violin recital.  And the A'Cappella choir, varsity orchestra and varsity band all had their combined holiday concert again. This one was not so impressive because they left out the Handel.  Of course, all the concerts were great and I'm glad these kids are able to participate in such great fine arts programs.

 

Fall Break

When Corey and I returned from Mexico, fall break was in full swing. Nana had come to stay with the kids during the time we were in Mexico.We had a fun day at the park playing kickball again with the Fowles side.  On Friday of that week, Wylie High and Wylie East faced each other in football for the first time in like eight years.  Wylie East won.  I didn't go to the game because before I knew the fall football schedule, I had purchased a ticket to go the Reba concert with my friend Julie Taylor.
