I love these moments where I can still snuggle with Nathan. He's getting to be such a big boy and not so much a baby anymore. I have loved his chub that he is quickly growing out of, so I had to snap a picture of him sleeping on me as I rock him for a nap.

Goofing Around
I was curious to see if Eliza would fit into my old cheerleading uniforms. The skirts fit her perfectly, but she still needs to grow to fit into the tops. I was a pretty small person, being that I was in ninth grade when I wore this uniform and she is only in fifth grade.

Homecoming
It is Homecoming weekend here in Wylie. However, the school doesn't actually have a dance, which I think is just bizarre, but whatever. They do have the tradition of wearing mums, a Texas tradition that is really very strange. Benjamin was given a mum by Stephenie, the exchange student representative for the students in Wylie and Sachse.
This is Corey, me, Travis and Benjamin attending the homecoming football game, which we won! The weather actually cooperated. It's been a very rainy, stormy football season with a lot of canceled games. We were glad to finally be able to attend one.

Travis is 12!
I didn't take any pictures for Travis' birthday except the one of his football cake. But this awesome young man is twelve now and receiving the Aaronic priesthood this weekend. Nana came out from California and Grandma and Grandpa came out from Arizona for his ordination. Travis is an amazing young man and we are so glad to be his parents.

Football Game
Travis had a football game while everyone was in town for his birthday and ordination. Unfortunately, the weather did not work out really well. It rained and the game was put on hold for a little while for lightning. During that time, Annmarie slipped on the bleachers and split her chin open. So Corey rushed her off to Urgent Care while we waited out the storm. We did end up playing and lost big time, but it was still fun to cheer in the rain.

Football and Cheerleading
I am very excited to have Eliza cheering for Travis this year. We signed Travis up for the local football league and they just added cheerleaders this year, so I went ahead and signed Eliza up too. I thought it would be fun to have them cheer for the same team. And I also volunteered to coach Eliza's squad, so that will be fun. I'm a little nervous about it, but glad to be able to spend the time with Eliza.
Since I don't know if they'll ever be able to do something like this again, I thought it would be a good idea to have some nice pictures done of the two of them. We are so excited for this season!

Random Miscellaneous Happenings
I took Nathan to the library toddler storytime. He was pretty chill, but wasn't all that interested in it. I don't know why I keep trying the library storytime here. It's so pathetic and lame compared to what we had at the library in Herriman. But the people here rave about it. Sad that they have never had something so good to compare it to.
Here is a snapshot of what Westley looked like last year at the same time. He has really changed over one year, hard to see that it's even the same person!
Nathan is having a meltdown because I checked the tightness of the sippy cup lid after he screwed the lid on.
Here is a snapshot of the mountain of laundry I do three times a week. Three hampers (Corey's hamper for work clothes only gets washed once a week, so it's not with today's wash) from upstairs, two from downstairs, and it usually equals about 7-8 loads. I used to do just Monday and Thursday but have recently had to add Saturdays to the rotation or there would be way too much to do on Monday.

New Cell Phones
Corey and I decided to get new cell phones and give our old ones to Westley and Caleb. We've had two extra lines on our plan for a few years now and one of them has had a flip phone/old phone type of cell phone that the kids sort of share, but now one line is Westley's and one line is Caleb's. We will likely have to add more lines with the other kids (maybe once they are 18, they pay for their own line, or maybe we'll make it 16, when they start working...hmmm....) but we are set for now.
And I'm particularly excited because the selfie mode on my old phone hasn't worked since June 2017. Caleb now has that phone. We did a factory reset, hoping that would take care of that problem, but it didn't work, so it must be a mechanical issue with the phone. But Caleb isn't really a selfie person anyway, so not a big deal. The boys were happy to have their own phones and we were happy to get some better ones.
