Nathan Turns THREE!

Nathan doesn't technically have a birthday this year, since he is a leap day baby.  But we always celebrate the last day in February so we can keep it in February.  He LOVES Transformers Rescue Bots and I was able to find the whole set of them at Walmart for a discounted price, so I went ahead and bought it for him.  I used them as part of his cake decorations.  He LOVED his cake and was so excited. 

Silly Costume Kids

Wylie ISD had a SAGE Expo that they do every year (SAGE stands for Special And Gifted Education).  A few of my kids are in GT, so we went to the fair, mostly because they had free In-N-Out with the cookout trailer.  Eliza, Annmarie and Nathan dressed up for pictures.  They had other booths and activities to do, but these are the only pictures I took on that day.

Kickoff Dinner 2019

Over President's Day, we went to the kickoff dinner in California.  It was at a nice hotel right near the ocean.  It wasn't very warm though.  We were able to leave the kids with Westley in charge and things went well.  Paige checked in on them once.  We were gone early Monday morning until Tuesday evening.  We had a good time.

Me with my cutie Nathan.  Soon I won't be able to rock him any more.  He is getting too big.

Draper Valentine's Party

Travis and Eliza are in 6th and 5th grade at Draper Intermediate (Intermediate school is only 5th and 6th grade) and there are quite a few members of the church at Draper from two wards.  So we decided to have a Draper "Mormon" Party and invited all the members from our ward and Sachse ward in both grades.  It was a lot of fun and Travis and Eliza want to do a V-day party every year now.  Hmmm.....

Valentine's Day

We had a fun breakfast for Valentine's Day--heart-shaped pancakes with strawberries and cream and strawberry milk.  Jonah made a fun box for his school Valentine's party--it is Bumblebee!

Music Composition Award

Westley submitted a music composition for the Reflections contest in October.  He won the category for both his school and the district and went to the district award ceremony for recognition for winning!  On to State.  It sure would be cool if he won there too!
