Fun Stuff

Lots going on this month.  I took a picture of the missionary plaques at church from our ward because we have so many out AND there are two plaques up for our missionaries.  They put Travis' up a few weeks early so his is up while Caleb's is still up.  But it's cool that there are so many. 

Maggie was leaving for college so I got a picture of her with Travis and Eliza, replicating a picture I took of them when Maggie moved to Japan.  That was in 2017 when Travis and Maggie were in fifth grade and Eliza was in 4th grade.  Then Maggie was taller than both of them but now she is the shortest of the three!

Last, but not least, Nathan is pictured wearing a plastic ball cap that Corey got from a game that he went to in California.

Annmarie had done some makeup, so I took a picture of it to document it before she wiped it off not to use it again until she is a little older.

 

Meet the Pirate Night

Meet the Pirate night is this big event they do at the beginning of the football season where they introduce all the fall sports and marching band. There are always booths of activities put on by the fall sports and food trucks. This time we were there for Jonah and the marching band. He got to show us how to march and we were able to march with him. Football and marching band in Texas are always a good time!

 

Hannah's Wedding

Corey and I went to California for my niece Hannah's wedding.  Hannah is Jordan's third child and second daughter.  She married Trey Wilson at a nice location in Southern California.  Aaron and Adam were there and so were John and Allison.  Westley and Alejandra came down for it also as well as Grandpa and Grandma.  It was a very different wedding than Leah's in April, which was in the Logan Temple.  

Travis had to come to Southern California that same week to get his visa taken care of for South Africa at the consulate in LA.  We picked him up from the airport and took him to the consulate and then drove up to the Antelope Valley to see where we used to live.  Then the three of us flew home together.

Senior Sunrise

Eliza had Senior Sunrise this morning. She went with a group of friends that she has become closer with over the summer. Looking forward to a great senior year!

 

Brock's Baptism and Senior Parking Space

Brock was baptized the first Saturday after school started. He turned eight on July 20th.  I took a photo of the girls singing a musical number and Nathan with his girlie cousins.

Maggie helped Eliza paint her parking spot.  It turned out so amazing!  It says "Into the music I go to lose my mind and find my soul."

                                                    

 

Cheer Dinner

Annmarie had a cheer dinner at a nice Japanese hibachi grill in Rockwall. The food was very good, and she seemed to have fun with the other girls.  She is pictured with Allanah Darr, her big sis, Kinzlee Zeltner, a friend from the ward who is on the squad, Kamryn Sharp, who is also in the ward (but not active) and has been in class with Annmarie since kindergarten, and her cheer coach, BriAnn Crockett.

 

Eliza Grown

I have finished another one of these frames with all the years from kindergarten through 12th grade.  Just like that (snaps fingers).
