Westley had his friend Lydia Shumard take his mission photos at the Dallas Temple.

Westley Temple

Westley was able to go through the temple for his own endowment.  It was a beautiful day.  Grandparents were there as well as other members of the extended family who live here.  Some members of the ward were there as well.  We went to lunch at Texas Roadhouse afterward.  Unfortunately, we did not think to take a single picture, so this is a picture of when we did baptisms over spring break.  Pretend it's a picture from that day two weeks later.

Baseball and Meyerson

Nathan's first baseball game ever happened to be on the same Saturday as Wylie ISD at the Meyerson, the concert hall down in Dallas.  Eliza's choir performed at the Meyerson.  Wylie ISD had the top ("varsity") group from each junior high and high school perform.  Eliza is in Choraliers, the top mixed chorus at Cooper Junior High.

Gator Awards

Nathan and Annmarie both got awards at the Gator Groove after Spring Break for the third term of school. Annmarie earned "Computer Whiz" for computers and got on the Principal's honor roll (95 and higher in every subject). Nathan got Super Artist award for Art class.  Great job, Gators!

Annmarie turns 9!

Annmarie is nine years old.  We often celebrate her birthday with pie because 3-14 is "pi" day.

Happy 11th birthday to Jonah!

Jonah is now eleven years old.  Since he is starting to be serious about gymnastics, Corey made him a gymnastics cake using homemade fondant.  It turned out pretty cool.

Spring Break 2022

We just hung around home for Spring Break.  We had some cold weather, so I got as many people together at the church to play inside the gym.

We also took a temple baptism trip as a family.  My four older kids, Maggie and AJ, and Alex were able to come along because they are all old enough.  Grandpa and Grandma came too.  It was great.  Even Travis was able to baptize.  We went very early and had a late breakfast at La Madeleine afterward.

And Nathan is gearing up to play baseball for the first time.  We haven't had anyone play baseball since we lived in Utah, so this will be fun.

Also, Westley performed at the Wylie Opry.  He did really well and hopes to be able to perform a lot more often.
