The Season Ends

The boys' baseball season ended the second week of June. Unfortunately, there was bad weather in those last few weeks and not all of the games canceled got made up. But we were ready to be done, so nobody really cared, which was probably why the games were not rescheduled. Two games a week is a lot, and if you have two teams that have two games per week each, that keeps you busy. The week or two after the season, it was weird to not have a game every night.

Here is Travis at his last game. He was excited about getting a trophy.

Corey was able to take the older boys to the batting cages before their last few games to get in some practice.

Now here are Westley and Caleb at their last game.

We will have to wait until next spring to decide if we'll do all this again. Next year we won't have the luxury of having two of the boys on the same team. Westley will be too old to be on the same team with Caleb and Travis won't be old enough. Juggling two teams was hard, not sure if we can handle three, but we'll see.

Maybe I need to have each boy in one different sport that have different seasons. Hmmm, something to think about...

i can so relate with the whole sports/boys thing...i still don't know how we're going to handle it as they get older. it was really nice having Hudson and Henry on the same team this year, but i'm not sure how often that will happen, and adding 2 more boys to the mix...it's going to be crazy!

loved your pics!! and the view is just breathtaking!!
