The boys headed out for Father/Sons and we girls had a girls night where we got our nails done and went to dinner, then we came home and watched a movie.

T-Ball Red Sox

Nathan had a fun first season of baseball/t-ball. He was on the Red Sox and was on the same team as his new best friend from school, Luke Walker. They won some and lost some and he had fun learning how to play the game. He finally got a game ball at the last game of the season. He said, "I was born for baseball!"

Travis finished his first year of high school choir and he seemed to enjoy it. Next year, he will be in A'Cappella, which is the varsity mixed choir.

Final Band Banquet for Caleb

Caleb has decided not to continue with band because he dislikes marching band so much. So he had his final band banquet this year. He has played the trombone starting in 4th grade, then we moved to Texas and he had to take a break until 6th grade, when he started up with it again. He also had his final band concert. I will miss seeing him in band.

Car Accident

On the way home from dropping Annmarie off at gymnastics, I was rear-ended by a jeep that just didn't stop at a red light. He pushed me into the car in front of me, but only a little tap. Thankfully he caused the accident so his insurance will pay for the repairs, but it will be a while before the van is done.

Cooper Choir Concert starring Eliza King

Eliza had her final choir concert of the year. She auditioned for a solo and got it. She sang, "With a Little Help From My Friends" and of course, did a great job! She is really growing in her singing talent.

Goodbye Elder King!

Westley left for the Provo MTC. He flew out early on Tuesday morning and took the shuttle from SLC to Provo. He said he was the only one on the shuttle and the driver stopped at In-N-Out for lunch. He arrived a day earlier than the reporting day. There were a few other missionaries that came early as well. Being so far away, it wasn't feasible to take him because driving takes too long and flying is too expensive. He will be missed but he is where he needs to be!
